Romy’s story begins in the Assemblies of God, where she was raised with a love for Christ but also with lingering questions. As she sought deeper meaning in life, she drifted into the New Age movement—a world filled with promises of enlightenment but ultimately rooted in deception.
Even in her wandering, Romy never fully forgot that Jesus Christ is Lord. Her path back to Christianity revealed the challenges many seekers face: Protestant churches teaching watered-down or even spiritually dangerous doctrines, alongside practices that lacked the reverence and tradition of the historic Church.
🙏 In her search for truth, Romy and her husband eventually found their way home to the Orthodox Church, where they discovered the fullness of the Faith, the fear of the Lord, and the unchanging teachings of the Early Church.
